KFOG Kaboom moves to Candlestick Park

Sadly one of San Francisco's largest firework displays (Kfog Kaboom) is moving from the central San Francisco Bay to Candlestick Park. I myself spent many wind blown nights spectating SF Giants games at good old Candlestick. This change in venue will have a negative effect on the entire San Francisco Charter fleet and waterfront. I am strongly urging the City of San Francisco to invest and welcome these impressive waterfront events that bring joy and commerce to the charter fleet and SF waterfront. These events are a great addition to the fantastic City by the Bay. Redbull Airshow and KFOG Kaboom whats next?

Angel Island Clean up Volunteers needed

Angel Island and other state parks throughout California are seeking volunteers for the 13th annual California State Parks Foundation's Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup set for April 17.
Volunteers at Angel Island will clean the beach, manage vegetation, remove exotic plants and maintain drainage from 10 a.m. to noon.
